Boortmeerbeek (Dutch pronunciation: [ˈboːrtmeːrˌbeːk] ) is a town in the Belgian province of Flemish Brabant. The municipality comprises the towns of Boortmeerbeek proper, Schiplaken and Hever. The total area is 18.64 km2 which gives a population density of 620 inhabitants per km2.
KRC Boortmeerbeek
[edit]KRC Boortmeerbeek is the football team. Notable players have included Albert Cluytens and Danny Lenie. Footballer, Michel Verschueren was born in 1931 in Boortmeerbeek. His career in football began at Flemish Brabant's KRC Boortmeerbeek, where he was first a player and later became a coach for two seasons.[2]
